Have to rev the engine to about 1500 RPM to get the tachometer running.
After that it works fine (almost). Exept on full throttle when it shows higher numbers than actual.
Ordered a new tachometer circuit board from Ecklers, didn't work as expected. It will not go higher then 1500 RPM.
Waiting on Ecklers for answer/suggestions.... Meanwhile I reinstalled the old board. Luckily it's easy to remove the tach.

Exhaust insulating wrap installed.
Main reason for this is to get a less noisy exhaust system.
With noisy I mean the metallic sound that "surrrounds" the exhaust.
This sound is typical on cars with automatic transmission, and as you can read from the spec it has other benefits as well.

Tachometer board again.
Got the answer from Ecklers, there is a potentiometer on the new board.
I adjust it, but the needle will not move on idle. I have adjusted as far "up" as possible.
Needle starts moving when engine revs pass about 1200 rpm. From there it looks to shows the correct "data".
When we are going back to idle the needle moves to zero. So I guess I am now stuck with no idle "data", anyone?
