1954 Had the junk body & engine Professionally restored for $1,000. Engine bored out from
414 cu. in, to 434 cu.in. Aluminum body & engine = 6,000 pounds.3 or 4 mpg, city, 8 mpg in country.
1958 Having moved to hilly Cinncinnatti, I sold the Lincoln. It was like driving a Greyhound Bus in the Rockies.
1960s - The car rose to $ 86,000 in the Collector Market.
1970s - I saw a gray one on the Glidden Tour through Washington DC.
2000 - I was delighted to see a photo of my car at the Local, McLean, Lincoln Dealer.
2010 The Dealer graciously let me remove photo from its frame and copy it.
