Here's some jpgs of my 1965 Hardtop Thunderbird. A little background:
Built August 1964 Wixom, Michigan, sold by Drew Ford, La Mesa, California October 1964 which is in the San Diego area south of Los Angeles. Kept under ownership of original purchaser, a Mr. Raymond Weamer until 1997, transferred to his adult daughter Barbara in San Francisco area who sold it in mid 1999. I bought it from this third person over the internet in early October this year and had it shipped 3000+ miles from San Francisco to East Coast of US. Total mileage now 69,159. Nearly complete service records from October 1964 to present.

The Southern California climate has preseved the body structure quite well. Exterior paint, interior plastic and rubber parts are a different story, all have been or will need to be replaced due presumably to the high UV levels of Southern California sunshine. I'm very pleased to have found this example of an affordable classic, just as I am sure Norway and the other OPEC countries are pleased when I fill up the 90 liter gas tank!!
