Some of our dansih friends visited so we also did a little bit of sightseeing.
Before joining the spring meet we had breakfast at the bakery.
Proved to be good timing. There we met the local Elvis imitator, Kjell Elvis.
Some funny guy called the Corvette parking "The harbor" Hmmmmm! :-)
A rare car in Norway.
Because of our new car tax system that punishes weight & HP heavily. No words on emissions?
I/we would like to get a good answer to this, but there aren't any. We call it the norwegian envy tax.
This car is not "taxed" so it cannot be driven daily. The red license plates are limited test plates only.
A new Challenger SRT-8 is a $300.000 (U.S) car here. It's insane! If you want a new Corvette add another $100.000.
If you can find a loophole in this sick tax system and sell these (Challenger, Camaro, Mustang & Corvette)
at a sensible price (around $100.00) you will stike it rich. Everbody over here wants at least one of these. :-)
Same sad story here, limited testplates only.
