This hot rod was built in Sweden in 1967 and is unchanged since that time.
Current owner saw it on a car show in sweden the same year and tried to buy it for the next 42 years with no luck.
Then in 2009 the luck changed. The swede agreed to sell it to that persevering norwegian gearhead who is now the happy owner.
This 1951 Cadillac belonged to our former King Olav V.
He bought it new in 1951 and owned and admired it until the day he died. (1903 - 1991).
It was then donated to the Vesterheim Norwegian-American museum in Iowa USA. On a visit The American Car Club of
Norway found the Cadillac in the museum's basement. As it was in need of a restoration it was no longer a part of the exhibit. The museum
agreed to donate it to "Amcar" and ship it to Norway if they restored it. A $100.000 restoration job was done, now the car looks and sounds fantastic.
