This car is very rusty, but the drivetrain is solid, and have some good parts that I want to use on my 1988 Caprice.
For some reason my 1988 Caprice has no stabilizer bar in the rear suspension. I have seen this on other cars too?
The parts car have that bar, so this will be my first upgrade. The next upgrade will be to use the Positraction rearend
from the parts car. My car was ordered without that option.

Also I am thinking about removing the Brougham roof. I will then need the rear window, the window on the back doors, and all the trim that
goes with it. I know this may sound crazy, (still not sure) but the top is not perfect anymore, and I "think" I like the standard roof better.

I will also remove the engine from the parts car and detail it. Since it is in good condition I will only clean, paint and make a few upgrades.
I will then keep it as a spare engine.
Restoring the 305 V8.
The four speed automatic transmission works fine too, so I guess I will save it together with all the other parts.

The big question: what do I do here? Keep the Brougham roof or not?

Here is why it ends up being a parts car.
