Our 1998 Cherokee and the newly bought 1997 parts car.
Equipped the same with the 2,5 liter gasoline inline 4 cylinder engine.

Parts car ready for the junkyard.

Parts car:
Restoring the aluminum wheels.
I am soon in need of new tires and these are as good as new.

Cleaning the body parts before storage.

Parts car coming to use:
Replacing broken (driver side) power window mechanism.
Also replacing the door panels. The panels on my car had aftermarked speakers that didn't work.

Rust protection in progress.
The "side channels" are known to be a weak spot,
so I opened them up, washed them and rust protected the inside.
They where full of wet gravel so it was on time. I "closed" the opening
with a rubber mat. That way I can keep them clean inside. I also replaced the
splash shield that protects the gas filler hose. The original was rusted and needed to be replaced.

Parts car engine cleaned and painted.
It also received a new set of spark plug wires.

Parts car wheels coming to use.
We needed new tires and the parts car had good tires on aluminum wheels.
They don't match in color, but didn't look that bad. Maybe I will have to paint them silver.

Off to Oslo for Green Day concert.
On our way we visit Phoenix US-Cars.

Off to pick up our new Maggiolina roof-tent.
We decided to pick it up at the sellers place in Drammen. (Campingsport)
It's a 3,5 hour drive from Kristiansand. On our way back we took some slower backroads and
spent one night in the tent. As usual my camera is always ready, enjoy a few hot cars that we saw as well.


Campingsport is selling this 1974 L48-auto Corvette for a friend.
Took it for a test drive so I can tell fellow gearheads about it's qualities.



Almost forgot, here's the tent.


This one is very rare, especially in Norway.
Hard to recognize from my picture so I have added one picture from Ferrari.
