We got an electrical problem, and solve it. :-)
Elecrical problems are the worst kind of problems I can think of.
They make me sleepless.

Suddenly the outermost right rear light turns off when brakes are applied.
The same light is also less bright, and the flasher is suddenly slower on the right side.
So where to start??????

To make a long story short, I found out that the bulb holder was defect,
and I was lucky to have a spare from my 1979 Caprice parts car.

The sinner.

Bad luck....
At a tollroad station the guy in front of us suddenly backed into the Corvette.
Luckily the urethane bumper did it's job. No dents or cracks, just some paint damage.
Repair in progress.

New metal crome gear knob installed.

Today we installed a
GM Performance Parts - Black Crinkle Deluxe Engine Dress-up kit.

I bought this kit for my 1975 Corvette, but it didn't fit.
I wanted to use the original air cleaner and that proved to be a problem.
So instead I decided to use it on the 78 Corvette that already had a custom air cleaner.
I will restore the L82 valve covers from the 78 Corvette and use them on my 1975 Corvette.
I will then replace the orange painted steel covers that originally came with the cars L48 engine.
