Owner: Herb Ferree from Greensburg, Pennsylvania - USA
I think we could classify this as an unrestored survivor.
It is in good running condition, with mostly original parts,
and I still have the original Owner’s Manual, in good condition.
I have only replaced what was necessary. A timing gear, broken window crank,
water pump, roofing cement coating on the canvas roof, brake linings and the floor mat.
It was purchased in Iowa where I grew up on a farm, it was our daily driver for many years.
The worst accident it experienced was when I was in high school returning from a basketball game,
and a Studebaker tried to pass me as I was making a left turn, using my arm for the left hand signal.
The Studebaker’s right front door was ruined and my little hubcap went inside it, so I took the hubcap and put
it back on the Model A, straightened out my fender, and ran my front bumper up against a large tree to straighten it.
