The Top 10 Best Looking Cars of All Time
By Bradley Taylor
The vehicle world is a highly
competitive field that takes sucker punches at one another. Whether it is a
slight adjustment to the body of a particular car, or a specification remodel,
it is a challenging game of trying to outdo one another and trying to outdo
just enough to make theirs stand out. To me, over the tests of time there are
10 cars that stand out for being the best looking. They are:
•The 1973 Porsche Carrera RS- This classic model is famous among
collectors as it was only produced for 2 years, between 1973 and 1974.
•The 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T- Priced recently over US $100,000. This is a
very hard model to come across with a low position to the ground.
•The 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL- Mercedes cars have always been known for their
quality but this one is a collector’s item and truly one of a kind. It is
debated as the best looking car of all time.
•The 1964 Aston Martin DB5- Aston Martins have always been associated with style and class. This
classic runs with a unique style and couldn’t fall into a better collection of
cars. It’s expensive, it’s rare, and it’s a collector’s item. Think Sean
Connery and James Bond, speaking of which the one he drove sold for US $4.6
million in 2010.
•The 1971 Lamborghini Miura SV- An original of its kind, it does 0 –
•The 1966 Ford GT40- This is the only classic American made car to be a winner at the 24
hours of
•The 1965 Jaguar E-Type- Valued at US $87,000. It’s one of the original Jaguar body types and
remains a classic to this day.
•1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray- This was the first Corvette coupe ever seen.
It has a split window in the back and looks very compact, price ranged between
US $40 and 60 thousand.
•1967 Ferrari 250 GT California- It made its claim to fame in the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, this classic normally has a black colour
and a sleek low design that has class and speed living in its headlights.
•1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4- There were only 330 ever built and it is priced at US $1.65 million.
It’s fast and it’s stylish. A common factor all these cars share is that they
are all cars that reside in the past. None of the more recent models are even
close to their style and why could that be? It’s because in the past there was more
passion involved with developing these cars and more effort put into making
every component count. You can see the difference of the past and the present
and the amount of actual man-made energy put behind these creations. As we
evolve technologically we lose the pass in the items we build.
