1988 Lancia Thema 8.32

A contribution by Matthias Zabel from Hamburg, Germany

1988 Lancia Thema 8.32 was an ordinary Lancia Thema, (a cousin to the Saab 9000 and Fiat Croma)
that was fitted with a 3,2 liter Ferrari V8 that was used in the Ferrari 328 GTB and GTS and in
the Mondial. Power output was slightly reduced from 240 to 210 hp. The exterior was largely unchanged
from original, apart from a rear wing that was hidden in the trunk lid and lifted up electrically at higher
speeds. Another trademark were yellow side stripes that were painted by hand. Interior saw a real wood dashboard.
This was later used in regular Themas, and it had expensive leather by Poltrona Frau, an Italian furniture manufacturer from Torentino.
